Travel Tip of the week - If you're flying on Monday, the solar eclipse could do severe damage to your eyes if you look at it from the plane. So make sure you have the right glasses, or simply pull down the shade of your window. There is a special flight that's going to chase the eclipse across the United States and they'll be providing proper glasses for the experience.

There's a new service called "Solve" available at 500 airports world wide and will act as your airport concierge when traveling. They will meet you at the front door, walk you through security and customs, and will get you to your connection in time. It's $290 per visit, or $145 each for two. Johnny says he wouldn't use it for departures, just arrival and transferring. That's where it's worth the money. But Leo says it can add up from airport to airport.

Johnny Jet says never to drink the tap water on an airplane. 1/3 often fail the standards for water safety. Always choose unopened bottles of water. Flight attendants don't drink the water, and neither should you. Carry an empty bottle of water and fill it up from the water fountain. Or freeze a bottle of water and bring it. TSA will let you bring it along.

When you have newborns and you're traveling, Johnny recommends bringing your car seat along. You will have to pay for a seat, obviously, but it's worth it safety wise. Always ask if there's an empty row or seat and maybe they won't charge you.

The most expensive day to fly this summer is July 9th, the Sunday after the 4th of July. Sundays are always traditionally more expensive to travel, while Tuesday and Wednesday are the cheapest.

Johnny Jet says that he made a big mistake when renting a car recently because he forgot to request a toll tag when renting a car. He didn't know you could, so it was a new tip he learned. If you're planning on renting a car for a trip, always request a toll tag so you don't have to pay the tolls while traveling — or so you won't get a ticket.
