Sharise wanted to get the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition because she wouldn't be able to trade in her Note 4 for the Note 8. She kept calling, and Samsung exchanged her older Note 4 so she got half off the Galaxy Note 8. Leo says it's a great phone, but Sharise wanted the blue color. Leo says to get a blue case like an Otterbox on it, and she's all set. Though Leo likes the Spigen Clear Case so it can show through.

Richard really likes his phone, but the battery is starting to run out and Verizon says that since the battery is built-in, it can't be replaced. He'll have to replace the whole phone. Leo says that drives him nuts. Richard has a perfectly good phone that he likes, but he has to go to the extra expense of upgrading a phone and throw his old one away. What phone should he get now? Leo says that Google's Pixel 2 XL is exclusive to Verizon and it's a great phone. It runs pure Android. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is another great option, with a great screen.

Apple unveiled the new iPhone 8, 8 Plus and the tenth anniversary iPhone X, but Leo says he's not really thrilled. Leo says it's more of a refresh of the iPhone 7, and the iPhone X is too expensive. But it does have wireless charging via Qi, which is good.

Leo is more excited about the new Android phones coming out, especially the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The Note 8 also has wireless Qi charging, and an OLED screen. And you don't have to wait until November or later to get it, like the iPhone X.

Leo says it looks pretty good, but he doesn't like the positioning of the fingerprint reader because it's near the camera lens, meaning you'll likely be constantly dirtying up the lens of your camera. There's also a button for "Bixby," a new mobile assistant. Leo says it's another button to keep track of, and it's unnecessary.
