The HTC 10 is the latest flagship smartphone from HTC. It has a metal unibody with a new chamfered contour and a dual-textured finish. It has a 5.2 inch Quad HD display with a pixel density of 564 pixels per inch.
The camera has OIS (optical image stabilization) on both the front and back. The main camera is 12MP and has faster laser autofocus than the previous version. It has dual tone LED flash, face detection, auto-HDR, and it still is capable of capturing Zoes, which records a few seconds of high definition video with photos. It supports 4K video recording as well. The front camera is 5MP, and has special selfie features like Live Make-Up.
HTC 10 now features 24-bit Hi-Res audio with new BoomSound Hi-Fi edition speakers, Personal Audio Profile, and Hi-Res audio earphones.
Performance of the HTC 10 is improved over the M9 with its Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Quad-Core 64-bit processor and 4GB of RAM. HTC claims the screen is 50% more responsive and apps launch twice as fast thanks to its auto-optimization algorithm. It can get up to 2 days of use from a single charge on its 3000 mAh battery, and can charge up to 50% in just 30 minutes. It charges using the new USB Type-C connector.
The HTC 10 has 32GB of internal storage with the ability to add up to 2TB with a MicroSD card. It runs Android 6 Marshmallow with HTC Sense.
HTC 10 costs $699 unlocked, and comes in black or silver.
