Dickie D is back with a new projector from Anker. World famous for their excellent external battery chargers, this time around Anker uses one of their batteries to power their new Nebula Capsule Pico Projector. It's about the size of a soda can and offers a range of connect options which include AirPlay, Chromecast, Bluetooth and HDMI. It's Anker 5200 mAh battery will power video playback for about 2.5 hours on a single charge. The Nebula Capsule runs on a version of Android Nougat and there's built-in support for streaming apps from Netflix, YouTube, HBO, Amazon Prime and more. The DLP lens can display a screen size up to 100-inches. Resolution of the Capsule is reported to be 854 X 480 which is better than other pico projectors this small. It can project out of the front or rear, or even up for ceiling viewing. There's also 5W of sound output through a 360-degree speaker. If you need audio only, Anker says expect 40+ hours of play time via Bluetooth. This device will ship with a remote, a Quick Charge 2.0 wall charger and microUSB cable. Units for $269 through their IndieGoGo campaign were still available as of 10/14/17. The Nebula Capsule has a MSRP of $349 and will in the marketplace by the holidays.
